CHRYSANTHOS KANELLOPOULOS

Associate Professor of Classical Archaeology

Chrysanthos Kanellopoulos holds a first degree in history and archaeology (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and a D.Phil in classical archaeology (also at Athens). He has worked for the American Center of Oriental Research in Amman and as a contractor in a number of ancient sites at Epidauros, Crete and the Cyclades. Since 2010 he teaches classical architecture at the Department of History and Archaeology in Athens. He is co-director of the field research at the temple of Zeus at Lebadeia and at the sanctuary of Apollo Zoster at Vouliagmeni.
